Leeanne's advice is sought from artists, entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, educators, and social sector innovators. She is committed to helping visionary people achieve great things in their communities.

For over nine years Leeanne G-Bowley (she, her, hers) worked in capacity and leadership development at Foundation Center (now Candid), training thousands of social sector leaders to build their boards, write winning proposals, create impactful programs, construct successful plans, and lead ethically.

She has traveled the country coaching and teaching nonprofit leaders and learning from the diverse communities she has visited. Leeanne has enjoyed facilitating learning for organizations such as BinderCon, Harvard University, NYC Department of Youth and Community Development, Gibney Dance, Asia Society, and the Queens Council on the Arts.

Leeanne is a director, choreographer, and curator who is passionate about dance's ability to build community and inspire critical thought and reasoned discussion. She is the co-founder and Artistic/Executive Director of In-Sight Dance Company, where inspiring artists create community. She was the chair of the Dance/NYC Junior Committee and led a successful initiative to build a multicultural committee that better represented the diverse dance community in New York City. Leeanne mentors other arts leaders and currently is focusing on amplifying the voices of BIPOC artists while working on her craft in between marching, sharing resources, writing, building civic engagement, and working a terrific day job in educational technology.

Leeanne has worked internationally building worker knowledge and success by creating impactful learning opportunities—in-person, online, and in hybrid programs in fields such as Philanthropy, Retail Real Estate, Leadership, Arts, and Education.

Leeanne lives in Elmhurst, Queens, New York and is proud to live in the geographic epicenter of political and social change.
